Halloween Survival Challenge Nights 3-6

Hey everyone,
It’s been a little while but it looks like the Halloween Survival Challenge is going to run 100% smoothly from now on. With that said, I gotta show some prompts from the past couple of days.
Night 3- Draw costume for your other two characters
I’ve actually all ready done this for the free day, so check out my last post to see it.
Night 4- Draw chibi versions of your characters
I decided to do something a little different for this. While everyone else was following the rules, I thought it’d be fun and interesting to make my chibi forms 8-bit sprites. I was looking at classic megaman sprites, got inspired, and I pretty much just went from there. Part of me wanted to just make chibis because my GOD was it hard simplifying Garvao and Delgad’s designs to work with 8-bit. The sprites are simple, but getting this right was pretty challenging. Will this come back and bite me later? Maybe, but I’m crazy so I’ll make it work =p.
Night 5- Draw your main character EXACTLY as they looked when you FIRST created them
Oh boy… I had to dig through old files to find my first drawing of Pixim. I first drew him in highschool and I still have all my old work from those days. Opening up those filies though… I was basically like this looking at my old work.
I’ve come a long way…
Anyway, here’s my modern drawing of classic Pixim:
Pixim doesn’t look too happy to see his “nostalgia costume”.
Here’s the orignial drawing I made back in 2012 where I was bored in class and didn’t want to work on assignments.

Night 6- Draw left facing avatars of your other characters
Lastly, here’s the prompt that’s due tonight. I have left facing portraits for Garvao and Delgad… Del was pretty easy to do and I finished his portrait in, like, no time… Even though he looks sinister. Garvao on the other hand was pretty hard to get right. I was having so much fun designing him a few years ago that I never thought about how he’d translate into sprite form. Oh well, I’ll roll with it. I’m crazy, remember? I just have to do more pixel art of him… and maybe make some model sheets. ~Yeah, that might be my next little (hopefully) project.
